DJI, the world’s leader in recreational drone sales, just opened its flagship store in Shenzhen, China. The company, which owns about 70 percent of the drone market, wants the store to be a high-tech interactive center. Measuring more than 8,600 square feet, the store includes multiple interactive areas including a theater where visitors can watch drone footage and a flight area with demo flights led by employees. There is also an installation where visitors can view footage and photos uploaded to SkyPixel, a media-sharing website for drone content.
