Curiosity Watches Eclipses Of Phobos And Deimos On Mars
The two moons of Mars put on a show in March. During the span of two weeks, the Curiosity rover watched both objects, Phobos and Deimos, pass in front of the sun. Now the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab has released the eclipse animations to show us the robot’s point of view.Deimos, the smaller of the duo, swung by on March 17.
